Abstract:The value of developing corporate identity has received increased attention lately, as a means of encouraging organizations' key stockholders to perceive the corporate entity in a positive way. It is important to consider the impact and the role of corporate identity may have on strategic management, in order that academics and managers will realize the potential that corporation identity offers organizations. The literature is reviewed and the concepts of corporate identity, image, personality and reputation are considered. A framework is presented, to refer as a corporate identity management process (CIMP).
