| Abstract: | Sondhi Limthongkul's dreams have grown beyond his means. To convince international investors to finance his Asian media empire, he has to get his house in order. In an otherwise forgettable 1970s Hollywood movie called Bubble-Gum Rally, a dashing Italian jumps into the driver's seat of a sports car. He flings his white scarf over his shoulder, then reaches up and snaps off the rear-view mirror. The first rule of Italian driving, he tells a startled passenger, is that what's behind you doesn't matter. |
