Abstract:After Hong Kong's return to the motherland, China's securities market will present a new pattern, that is, one country, two securities markets and three securities exchanges, between which there are both co-operation and competition. Hong Kong's return benefits enhancing the function. Hong Kong's return benefits enhancing the function of China's securities markets, including financing speeding up the process of internationalisation and improving the mode of financing abroad. It provides China's listing companies with chances of development, which help accelerate the development of inland basic industries and their opening to the outside world, promote the development of the manufacturing processing industry and the tertiary industry. It also brings inland securities market another greater chance and challenge.
