Abstract:Looking back on Hong Kong's 30 years of development after its economic take-off, we find that Hong Kong has entered the mature stage of economic development gradually through continuous self adjustment. Generally speaking, Hong Kong's cyclical rise would appear in the second or third year after its economic resurgence. Therefore, it is estimated that being promoted by its rising again in cycles and a new round of economic growth in inland area, Hong Kong's economic growth rate after 1997 will reach 6% in the few years to come. This estimation may be somewhat conservative.
