Abstract:At slack season, hotels should put their main efforts on the relatively stable visitors on commercial affairs or travellers on official business. The following 4 price tactics may be used for reference: 1. setting only one price all the year round to make price remain relatively stable, 2. giving discount according to consumers rather than with seasons to strive for the visitors turned back and raise the rate of occupying market, 3. insisting on normal prices but increasing service facilities and raising the quality of service at slack season and discounted prices for small profits but quick return at busy season, 4.attracting visitors' attention to the relative prices to be associated with the benefits gained by visitors.
