Abstract: | What is the best approach to doing business in China? The conventional way has been through a joint venture with a Chinese partner. But, there is a new and better way for a foreign investor to enter the Chinese market: as a wholly foreign owned enterprise, or WFOE. Unlike joint ventures, WFOE's offer managers flexibility and control and, most likely, greater prospects for long-term success in the Middle Kingdom. |
