| Abstract: | An extensive workplace survey was conducted to facilitate a hazard evaluation on physical load among ship maintenance workers. The aims of the study were to characterize nature and level of physical load, to evaluate the physical load by existing guidelines, and to identify important determinants of physical load that can be acted upon in intervention strategies. |
