| Abstract: | The term logistics has become fashionable today and is used differently in business and professional associations depending on the field of interest. Before being adopted by the private sector, as with so many other management concepts, logistics was already implemented in the military. Together with strategies and tactics, logistics is one of the three major functions of the military support mission. When the logistics concept was first introduced to the private sector, in the late 1950s and early 1960s, the idea was marketing-oriented. |
