Abstract: | The impact on New Technologies (or NT) on wages is examined in the paper. A unique data set that matches data on individuals and on their firms is used. Krueger, in his important article on the same topic, did not give a definitive answer to the question: If workers who use NT are better paid, is it because they are more able or because NT increases their productivity. In the paper, a precise answer to this question is searched for. |
