| Abstract: | The tourist resources may be divided into four main categories. They are natural resources or natural landscape like Huangshan and Jiu Zhaiguo, historical resources or historical remains and relics, social resources and modern man-made landscape like "China of Splendors" and "World Park" etc. Shanghai as a modernized metropolis mainly has social resources and modern man-made landscape. To develop tourism in Shanghai, it should make improvement in the quality of green, communications, hospitable, cultural and shopping environment. |
