| Abstract: | Is ISO 9000 just another imposing title on consultants' brochures or is it a system you must adopt to survive? ISO 9000 quality systems standards have undoubtedly become more prevalent over the last decade. More than 90 countries have adopted the ISO 9000 series or its equivalent as national standards. Adherence to ISO 9000 standards has become mandatory for companies wanting to sell medical devices or telecommunications equipment in Europe, where more than 20,000 companies are registered. |
