| Abstract: | There are different leading industries in different times. In the age of industrial economy, economy of scale was realized by manufacturing industry as the leading one, which promoted economic growth. In the age of knowledge economy, the leading industry will be the industry with the condition of providing systematized commodity service and its competitive advantage is incorporated in the "system economy" which can obtain higher added value by combining hardware, software with undertakings. The information industry with knowledge, information and technology as the core, which is the leading one in the age of knowledge economy will lead to terminal market and other new markets like network business and TV shopping. |
