Abstract:China's retail trading is still in the development stage. In view of the fact that foreign investors are pouring into China, it is essential to give moderate and rational protection to the domestic retail trading. To this end, the state should take the policy of "total amount under control and structural adjustment" in utilizing foreign investment, rationalize the scale of introduced foreign investment, guide foreign investment and open China's retail trading market in an orderly way. According to the foreign experience, the market protection policy is more effective than market access policy for control over the expansion of foreign investment. In this way, we need to give moderate protection to the domestic retail trading while opening the domestic retail trading market.
