| Abstract: | A social survey indicates that in early 1998, the public's demanding ratio of medical insurance is 52 per cent, higher than the demanding ratio of pension insurance, which is 47 per cent. The basic contents of the current reform of the medical insurance system include basic medical insurance, complementary medical insurance, commercial medical insurance and medical assists. medical insurance, whether undertaken by government or any commercial insurance company , need to control the medical expenditure and solve the problem of "paying by a third party". Commercial insurance provides complementary services for social medical insurance so as to obtain a maximum developing space. |
