| Abstract: | A socialist country needs to run economic special zones (ESZ) on a trial basis under the guidance of a correct theory and perfect them continuously through practice. The theoretical circles of Guangdong province have made active suggestions on the following issues on the six theoretical symposiums: 1. Should a socialist country run economic special zones or not? Are economic special zones "new concessions"? 2. Has the construction of economic special zones won successes or been failed? 3. the establishment of export-oriented economic development strategy. 4. the issues concerning creating new advantages, industrial advantage, developing high an new tech industries and realizing the integration of Shenzhen's and Hong Kong's economies and Zhuhai's and Macao's economies. |
