Abstract: | This article deals with the World Bank issues. Over the last 7 years, the World Bank has concentrated on heavily subsidized financing for countries with ready access to private capital. 70 % of its non-aid resources have gone to 11 nations. The article author argues that there is a need for the Bank to transform itself. There is information on e.g. major recipients of the Bank resources 1993-1999. |
