| Abstract: | This article discusses Simpson Appliances Ltd.'s alternative measures of performance to create a total-quality-management environment for its Christchurch, New Zealand factory. Dealt with are supplementation of traditional management accounting reports, collection and reporting of performance indicators by team leaders at operational level, and use of key performance indicators to assess continuous improvement. |
