Abstract:Both the circulation rates of the nominal and actual currencies among various levels have, since the reform and opening up, decreased according to the law of logarithm linearity. There are differences of the annual decrease or change rates of circulation among various currency levels and nominal and actual currencies. These time order features are both a special law in the transitory period of China's economy and a general trend throughout the world, i.e. a decrease step by step in the rate of currency circulation. It also affirms Freedman's thesis that the rate of currency circulation is a stable function.
