| Abstract: | The integration of the urban and rural labor market is the prerequisite of China's modernization. Peasant-workers who enter cities to seek employment and the urban laid-off workers who want reemployment are not contradictory but supplement each other. To establish an unified urban and rural labor market is the fundamental way to coordinate the employment relations between urban and rural labors. We should try to correct the wrong idea of "urban protectionism" and cancel the restrictions imposed on the employment of peasant-workers, further perfect the urban and rural labor market system, activate urban and rural labor mobility, try to develop large, medium and small cities and towns to reduce the moving cost of rural population and make ordered mobility of the rural labors. |
