Abstract: | As the period for dot.com startups comes to an end, the question remains: Which companies will be around for the long haul? Clues to the answers to these questions can be found in a 10-year study released by A.T. Kearney. The study was a global initiative to investigate the characteristics for successful growth. The authors of this article have overlaid the growth research onto the new-economy companies. Among others, they argue that what it took to be a value grower in the old economy is essentially the same in the new. |
