Abstract: | This paper makes a critical assessment of most of the existing models, highlighting in each case, the positive and negative aspects and then proceed to outline the rationale for the development of a new six 'S' framework. The principle of this model is that the adoption and diffusion of technology in organisations is a non-linear process and that organisations need not graduate from step 1 to step 2, etc. as in the case with most existing mopdels. |
