| Abstract: | This Special Issue of the Journal of East-West Business consists of a selection of papers presented at The First International Conference on "International Business in Transition Economies". The Conference was motivated by the idea that we need to question and rethink our conceptual frameworks and dominant paradigms on internationalisation of companies in order to come to terms with the business reality of companies in the rapidly changing transition economies. The papers presented in this Special Issue as well as the debates during the Conference show that we are on the way to reformulating the theories, but also that there is still a lot to be done. |
