Abstract: | Previous study has largely overlooked network embeddedness as a source of company value. The author seeks to understand how a focal company's structural embeddedness network characteristics function as mechanisms that elucidate the value of its knowledge-intensive exchanges. A framework that identifies two processes of knowing exchange value are presented in this paper. The processes are 1) knowing through a learning bandwagon and 2) knowing through a fad bandwagon. |
