Abstract: | This paper investigates the long-term impact of Teaching Company Scheme (TCS) Programmes on company performance and competitiveness. The paper looks at the impact of one TCS programme, a partnership between the School of Interior Design and Haley Sharpe Associates, the leading UK Interior Design consultancy in 1993. The paper also discusses how TCS was a valuable 'change agent' in effecting IT-stimulated cultural change within Haley Sharpe. As a result of TCS, design productivity within the company has doubled and new in-house design services have been established. |
