Abstract: | Nearly every organization has a performance reward system that is expected to attract, retain and motivate employees to achieve the organization's goals. Performance appraisal systems are more effective when there is a connection between the performance management system and the reward system of the organization. Forced distribution systems are found to be associated with lower organizational effectiveness. |
