| Abstract: | This article examines the role of financial incentives in retirement behaviour. Federal civil service workers employed by the Department of Defence are used as evidence. The authors find that these workers respond to their financial incentives in a similar way to what others have found when analyzing much different retirement systems in previous studies. |
