Abstract:A holistic model of workplace effectiveness that includes performance in the overlapping domains of citizenship, emotions and ethics is proposed in this article. It is argued that since employee performance in these non-task domains is not objectively measurable, 360-degree feedback provides a basis for strategic performance measurement systems that recognize and reward positive contributions, and detect and correct negative contributions in an equitable manner.
