Abstract: | This article focuses on the disciplinary division between courses in intercultural communication and in foreign languages when teaching cross-cultural skills in Australian universities. Two courses in intercultural communication are being analyzed with a purpose of to discover how they value teaching cultural difference in classroom. Both case studies are from teaching French. The teaching of culture also within language courses is being noted as relevant. |
