Abstract:This article examines the role of selected affective factors such as hedonics, control and novelty on perceived cruise vacation value. The results indicate that hedonics or the pleasurable aspects of the consumption experience are connected to perceived value. It is also found that the role of satisfaction is important in mediating the relationship btw. affect and value. However, while all affective factors were positively related to satisfaction, their relation to perceived value varied. Finally, managerial implications and directions for future research are suggested.
