| Abstract: | This article examines how farmers make management choices and how their information seeking and decision making can be improved. LENNART, which is a net-based decision support system, is designed to exploit the use of heuristics by farmers and to provide low cost access to information. LENNART is used for the evaluation of the economic and environmental impacts of best management practices on individual fields. |
