| Abstract: | This article empirically examines the probability (hereafter as: prob.) of introducing innovations by manufacturing firms at different stages of companies lives. Differences in prob. levels are controlled for the activities and the firm size. Then the innovation prob. is examined in the following stages: entry, post-entry ages, and advanced ages of mature firms. Also the relation btw. exit from the market and pre-exit innovation is studied. |
