Abstract: | This paper suggests a shift from the discourse on transfer and transition with regard to Central and Eastern European (CEE) societies towards one focusing on transformation processes coming with globalization (here as: glob). Since glob. can be interpreted as the spread of ideas, informations, practices, goods etc., the perspective of the diffusion of management innovations (here as: inn./inns.)is introduced and enlarged by incl. power relations, the interests of actors and cultural aspects of change. The argument of culture as barrier for the adoption of inn. is challenged in favour of one seeing it as a chance for contributing to inn. and glob. |
