| Abstract: | This article studies the role of the human resources department in information technology innovations. The writers argue that human resources departments should contribute to information technology innovation projects by being responsible for explicitly defining job tasks that have to be automated, using a rewards system for those who need to learn and use new technology and examining the training needs of the users and providing them with adequate training. |
