| Abstract: | Small island tourism economies (SITEs) differ in the many things: for instance size, economic development, ethnic diversity, political cultures, vulnerability to external interventions and natural disasters, ecological fragility and the risks facing investors. Natural disasters, crime and conflicts have an effect on arrival of international tourists to SITEs. In this article the conditional mean and conditional variance of the logarithm of monthly international tourists arrivals and the growth rate in the monthly international tourists arrivals for six SITEs are modelled. |
