| Abstract: | This paper presents certain characteristics shared by luxury and art products that have given rise to a renewal of approaches in consumer behaviour. The authors introduce the concepts of "aesthetic perception and experience", then propose a perceptual framework for analysing the consumption of luxury and art products. A scale of aesthetic style based on comparative analysis of these two product categories is developed. |
