| Abstract: | The profile of lesbian, gay and bi-sexual equalities (hereafter as: eqls.) initiatives developed and delivered through inter-agency partnerships (here as: p-ships.) in the arena of local government (as: loc-gov.) raised by statutory and policy changes. Based on findings from a large empirical project, this study applies concepts from the sociological branch of new institutionalism to the field of sexualities eqls. p-ships. work in loc-gov. Introduced is the notion of institutional hybridization. |
