| Abstract: | The idea of this paper is to discuss the influence of organizational environment factors on the selection of knowledge management (hereafter as KM) strategies and on the success of KM initiatives. The authors reviewed also relationship between business and KM strategies in this case study with a sample of 11 German and Swiss companies. The results show that the company directors should know business strategy and processes of the organizational unit and select the KM strategy and objectives accordingly. |
