Abstract:The aim of this paper is to revive the concept of crowds and review its value for economic sociology. Both semantically and theoretically methods were used to examine the relationship between crowds and economic life. The article shows how speculation and financial markets have traditionally been explained in crowd terminology. The review highlights the idea of semiconscious suggestion and crowd syndrome that is mainly identified in fluctuating markets to improve the understanding of everyday economic processes.
