Abstract:This article presents results of focus-group interviews performed among a group of a Finnish University of Applied Sciences (hereafter as: U.A.S.) students taking part in pre-incubator (here as: p-i.) programmes. P-i. students' growth to entrepreneurship (as: e-ship.) is explored. The practical aim is to find answers of how to renew entrepreneurial training programmes to better meet the needs of U.A.S. students. Through the triangulation process of life experiences such as free-time activities and hobbies, e-ship. education and socialisation within ones family, students create their own learning environment and teaching practices. This provides an example of how to cross the borders of the classroom and let the process beguided by learners' inspiration and innovativeness. Counselling, coaching and mentoring are catalysts in the process of growth towards e-ship.
