Abstract: | The purpose of this research is to investigate the notion of knowledge assets developed within digital communities in the course of their economic or leisure activities. The results suggest that intangible assets are key sustaining knowledge societies. Governance and culture are examples of such intangibles. Time is essential factor for a culture to come about. A model critical for creating a knowledge community in the digital economy is introduced. |
