Abstract: | Alternative business concepts (hereafter as: b-cts.) are increasingly applied by manufacturing industries, transforming traditional buyer-supplier relationships to new exchange models of deliveries and payments. This study aims at providing a set of parameters relating the variety of scientific papers in this research field to a common framework. Through applying this framework to multiple case studies across four European countries, a preliminary typology of new b-cts. emerges. The findings have implications for managerial decisions on adopting novel b-cts. |
