Abstract: | The article discusses the relationship between work stressors and employee adjustment. Multiple negative effects between workplace stressors and employee adjustment have been identified in previous research. The article examines the effect of subjective fit with organizational culture on work stressor-employee adjustment process. Hierarchical multiple regression analysis was utilized to analyze an employee sample from three companies. The results indicate that high subjective fit indeed has stress-buffering effects. |
