Abstract:This article author argues that once challenging some tacit assumptions of narrow rationality enduring in much of entrepreneurial (herein as: e-prial) studies, e-prial ethics can be elevated beyond mere external constraints on rational action, and be moved toward fuller integration of ethics as an intrinsic part of the process of value creation itself. The concept of 'practical wisdom' is proposed as a framework for exploring e-prial. decision making and action that can broaden the scope of the research to recognize entrepreneurship (as: e-ship) as an naturally normative enterprise etc. By investigating e-ship through a lens of practical wisdom, new avenues of fruitful inquiry can be opened for e-ship scholars.
