| Abstract: | The founding of subsidiaries is presented as one possible strategic measure designed to establish new sectors of business activity and as a contribution to the long-term development of the enterprise. The advantages and disadvantages of setting up a subsidiary are compared to those if acquiring an existing company and those of establishing a new corporate department or division. |
