Abstract: | Research on economic foreign policy has generally taken one of two analytic approaches: realism or, more recently, behavioralism. A third approach using cognitive analysis is possible: extrapolating from political culture we can recognize economic culture as the social perceptious that structure economic policy. These approaches are analyzed using Britain as an example. |
