Abstract: | With the present emphasis on management development the authors interprete how the "development center" of a large telecommunication company operates. Their conclusions explain how the DCs were implemented, and what pertinent issues arose.They warn the reader of considering the DCs as merely a shortcut or easy option.However, properly operated the development centers can make an important contribution to management development. |
