| Abstract: | The authors examine financing problems reported in over 4000 interviews in 12 countries, half developed and half developing. Tha data was collected by a Dutch market survey firm. Looking at the results the authors found a severe finance gap (UK concept from the 1930s) in the firms of the less developed countries. The gap seems to exist in a smaller degree among young/small firms in developed countries as well. |
