| Abstract: | Observations are formulated about the trends and the actual function played by the second Anti-dumping Code of the GATT. The legal setting of the problem is highlighted. Statistics are presented about the anti-dumping proceedings and the pattern of evolution is outlined. The question of Poland is analyzed in detail. The position of a prospective supplier is examined. The inadequacy ot the method of collective dumping complaints is highlighted. The special problems of trading with planned economy countries are raised. Legal possibilities of settling dumping disputes presented by the law of GATT are analyzed. |
