| Abstract: | Stress progressively disorganizes the physiological and phychological defence of an individual. The consequences for a company are important in terms of human and financial costs. Following a study of executives in the most dynamic companies in France, the main sources of stress are identified for directors and their intensity is evaluated. A methodology is proposed for stress audits in companies. A stress audit would allow to establish a diagnosis of the situation and to make decisions in view of creating a favourable organisational environment. There is a need in France to give an organisational solution to stress, not just an individual one. |
