Abstract:A consideration of the outcomes induced on Human Resources Management by the introduction of micro-computing in the organization is outlined. Beginning with several established facts and their practical meaning, the technological evolution that happened during these last two decades is described and it is situated in the trend of productivity enhancement characterizing the economy. Afterwards, the relations between technology and organization, essentially the aspects of qualifications, classifications, hierarchy and notions of staff and line, problems of data processing und bureaucratic, and finally the troubles trade unions meet with new technologies are approached.
